A worksheet earns its place when it does two jobs at once. Both sheets here start as a pencil activity and finish as a colouring page, which keeps a child at the table for longer than either would alone.
The first is a matching sheet: animals down one side, their homes down the other, and dots to join. The second is a dot-to-dot that reveals a sailing boat, surrounded by a wave border to colour afterwards.
Neither sheet contains printed words, so both can be used before a child reads fluently, or adapted with your own labels.

Why These Activities Help
Matching builds reasoning
To join an animal to its home, a child has to recall a fact, hold it in mind and act on it. Getting one wrong is useful too: asking 'why did you pick that one?' usually reveals the reasoning behind the mistake.
Dot-to-dot builds pencil control
Drawing a straight line from one point to a specific other point uses the same control as forming letters. Because the reward is a finished picture, children repeat it willingly.
Finish with colour
Colouring the completed sheet gives a natural second stage, and it means an early finisher has something to do without needing another worksheet.

- What paper should I print on?
