Ankylosaurus was a wide, low plant eater from the very end of the Cretaceous Period in North America. Its back was covered in plates of bone set into the skin, and it carried a heavy club of bone at the end of its tail.
Bony plates called osteoderms protected its back and sides, and even its eyelids had bony protection. Its body was low and broad, which would have made it hard for a predator to tip over.
Ankylosaurus had a wide beak and small leaf-shaped teeth, suited to low-growing plants. It fed close to the ground rather than reaching up into trees.

One big, friendly Ankylosaurus with a round tail club and very thick outlines.
